We’re Drawn to Our New Logo

Have you noticed a change at Diet-to-Go? Don’t worry. The change has nothing to do with our super sensational customer service or our ultra-delicious meals.

We’ve adopted a brand spanking new Diet-to-Go logo. While that may not seem like such a big deal to you, let me tell you – it took months of discussions and several trips to the proverbial drawing board to come up with the classy looking logo you now see on our website and on this newsletter.

A logo is much more than simply a company’s name. It’s also meant to convey a message about what we aspire to be.

The Diet-to-Go part is simple – we provide you ready to heat-and-eat meals that are quick, convenient and downright scrumptious.

The tagline “Eat Healthy. Live Well.” is the philosophy we want our clients to embrace. Our meals meet or exceed the nutritional guidelines set forth by several major organizations including the American Heart Association and the American Dietetic Association. “Live Well” means more than simply being well or eating well; it also means having the time to enjoy life outside of work or school. Diet-to-Go meals free up that precious time… time you would otherwise need to shop for groceries and cook meals.

The warm colors convey the warmth and friendliness of our support staff. From the chefs to the men and women who answer your calls, everyone here at Diet-to-Go loves what they do and how their work helps you, our customers, lead a better life.

Finally, there’s that subtle outline of an apple at the start of our name. Many of the original logo suggestions did not include the apple that so prominently adorned our previous company logo. Since we wanted to remain the apple of your eye – and we wanted to continue the 18-year tradition of keeping the customers as healthy as an apple a day – we insisted the apple remain in some form.

The designers accommodated us and did a fantastic job moving the Diet-to-Go logo into the 21st Century.

The history of the Diet-to-Go logo is an interesting one. Our original design included a “personal chef” – a waiter-type carrying our food to you. The poor guy however soon lost his legs when a New York running club cried foul and claimed our logo was too similar to theirs. Rather than duke it out in court, our intrepid founder opted for a bit of surgery and had the legs removed!

We hope you enjoy the new logo as much as we do.
